During a channelling session recently I asked Spirit the following question: Does the Earth have consciousness or a life force and what does the Earth want right now? I received the following:
“It is with joy that we come through. We find a being who is so keen to communicate and to receive communication from us. The Earth, as you most probably know, has a consciousness of its own. Mother Earth is evolving as you all are. And even though she is part of the great dream, part of this whole separation saga, she still has a consciousness and she still has to evolve and move on, as you do, until one day in the long, long distant future the dream is over.
The Earth wants love. The Earth wants nurturing. She provides human beings, animals, all of you with so much, and most people take it all for granted. You take the water that rains down from the sky for granted. And yet in other parts of the world there are severe droughts. You take the green land and the pastures and the crops for granted and yet without the Earth’s input, the soil, the water and all the other micro-organisms involved, you would have no food, no crops. You use the Earth’s materials for shelter, to build homes. You rely on the Earth so much and she just wants to be taken care of.
She asks you to limit your numbers because she is a finite being. Although there still are untapped resources on this planet, the population explosion is too much. It’s not sustainable. For those who are here now, a population of seven or eight billion, you can play your part, a little part, by not being wasteful. Not wasting resources, or energy or food. And that’s a little, tiny part but that will help. Also, just try to think before you have large families. What if all married couples on the planet have large families? What will that do to the world’s population? Especially as, thanks to medical care and people’s health awareness, people are living longer lives, if not healthier lives—often not healthier lives. But they are living longer and that means the population is just getting bigger and bigger as more and more people are born. One or two at the maximum children per family is the most people should be thinking of in these days.
Gaia says, “Allow me to cleanse myself. Allow me to shake off negative energy,” because there are places in this world where there is a huge amount of negative energy. Places where there has been a lot of violence, destruction, war…And she needs to clean her aura. Human beings should not be inflicting this on the energy field of the Earth because Gaia is becoming out of balance, as humanity is out of balance, and this has an impact on her. Your energy fields, the energy of the people on the planet and the energy of the Earth itself are intermingling. So you have an impact on each other.
Apart from conserving energy and conserving resources, by raising your own vibrations, through all the things you have been taught on your spiritual path, you are actually helping Gaia as well. Because when your frequency goes up, her frequency goes up. So continue with your spiritual practices, with your forgiveness and meditation, and go out into gardens, or fields or parks and express your gratitude and thanks for all the abundance that Gaia has given you. That won’t go unnoticed. That will have an effect on her as well.”
